Saabunud kiri:
Dear all,
I hope you have had a great Christmas!
I’m very sorry for the delay, but attached you find a presentation and matrix for advocacy and stakeholder mapping.
The idea is this: look through the presentation. It covers the concept of advocacy, policy window and different mapping of initiatives and stakeholders. I deliberately included more than only stakeholder mapping for you to get familiar with the preparations for the campaign drafting we will get into later in the project.
Once you have gone through the presentation please open the excel document where I ask you to answer the questions. There are four different, partly overlapping mappings, in order to approach the subject from different perspectives and abstraction levels:
- Initiatives mapping
- Stakeholder mapping
- Influence mapping
- Actor-Network theory
They are listed in levels of abstraction. First a mapping of initiatives, then identifying the different direct and indirect stakeholders, then how to influence them by finding the primary target and last but not least we want to identify trends/shifts or other initiatives that direct or indirect affect us or our stakeholder.
My proposal is that you get until the 20th of January to complete the form which also gives you a chance to ask questions on our next meeting in Turku. After that we will proceed the information and finish the ”map” by the 31st of January. Do you think that will work or is it too tight? If you have any questions about the process or the content please don’t hesitate to contact me. Once again sorry for the late delivery.
Best regards,
Lars
