as we discussed in the kick-off meeting, I am going to round up existing participatory tools during this summer. Priority is in digital tools and smart phone apps, but if there is good, functional and new, non-digital participatory tool, that too can be encluded to our list. I am also going to develop some kind of evaluation criteria of these tools. Goal is that I am able to send the first draft of the list with links and evaluation criteria to you in the end of July or the beginning of August.
What I would want you to do is to send me information about the tools you have encountered, if any. I also would want you to tell me what are the most important things in your point of view when executing participatory methods. What do you excpect from the tool used? What are the most convenient ways to use a participatory tool with citizens? For example is smart phone a good instrument in your city or are some other means more convenient, etc. Please send the information by end of June.
I know that the summer and specially July is a holiday season and I am too having my holidays in July. I still hope that we are able to finish the round up list in August so that we can then deside, which methods are reasonable to use in this project.
